For our cosmetic surgery patients who wish to avoid the hospital environment, we provide state-of-the-art surgical suites and recovery rooms – staffed by professionals – in the most quiet, private setting in the same building of our main office at the Medical Center.

Dr. Gómez Mendoza and his staff closely monitor patients' post-operative progress to make sure that they are comfortable and pain free. Post-operative patients can feel secure knowing that they can reach Dr. Gómez Mendoza by phone at any hour.

Patients can usually return to work in a few days after most cosmetic surgical procedures. For these patients, full activity levels are routinely achieved after four weeks. The expected recovery time following reconstructive procedures, however, varies with the nature and the scope of the procedure or procedures performed.

Since the beginning your consultation will be with Dr. Gómez Mendoza and after talking with you and examining you, he will personally make recommendations to help you achieve your goals.

Dr. Gómez Mendoza operate at the modern and discrete Paseo de la Victoria Hospital: this facility is fully accredited and all anesthesiologists are certified by the Board of Anesthesiology with training and certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Dr. Gómez also aperates at the Mexico-Americano Hospital and  Puerta de Hierro Medical Center, but of course you can choose one of the many Guadalajara or Puerto Vallarta area hospitals where we currently enjoy operating privileges. In 1986 received his medical degree from the University Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical College.

After Having undertaken extensive training in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (in Mexico City, USA and South America), he established his own private practice with a commitment to providing the highest quality patient care available.

Dr. Gómez is a surgeon who is easy to talk to, friendly and professional who listens closely to what you want and caresabout what you need. He is a fully accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon: Board Certified since 1993 and member of the College of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Mexico. 

Since his arrival to Guadalajara, Mexico he have been distinguished as:

• Chief of Plastic Surgery of Baylor Group from 1995 to June 2007. 
• Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery – Jardines de Guadalupe Hospital   10-1993 to 07-1997. 
• Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery – Metropolitan Hospital   12-2001 to 12-2002 
• Coordinator of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Puerta de Hierro Medical Center 01-2005 to 05-2006. 
• Chief of the first and only staff in the country authorized to perform hand transplants since 12-2005. 
• Chief of the Cirugía Plástica Integrada group from  July of 2007 to date.
